Throwback Music: Crooklyn Dodgers

“Straight from Crooklyn, better known as Brooklyn, never takin shorts cuz Brooklyn’s the borough…”…love, love, LOVE 90s hip hop..(damn boo, I miss you much!).  Crooklyn Dodgers which featured Special Ed, Masta Ace & Buckshot Shorty created this track for the Spike Lee joint – Crooklyn. Return of the Crooklyn Dodgers  – Chubb Rocks, O.C., Jeru the Damaja(Crooklyn Dodgers ’95) – was featured on Spike’s Clockers soundtrack. Both tracks make me reminisce on how ridiculously DOPE hip hop was once upon a time.

Yep… ’94 summer was def. serious for me, and that was one of the joints… then, the part 2 in ’95 did the same. They both rep that era when I seriously loved hip-hop through and throughout. Serious-lyyyyy.
